A-2 具有按钮阀，可使样品在小至 25 μL 的注射器中耐受 250psi。这适合用于含有低沸点成分的少量液体样品，因为使用普通注射器可能会导致这些成份通过蒸发损失。
正向后挡块 (100 μL及更大尺寸) 可防止柱塞在压强增加时爆裂，避免样品损失并防止操作人员受伤。与 A 系列气体注射器一样，A-2 具有所有标准 Pressure-Lok 特性，如 PTFE 柱塞头、PTFE 密封针头和超光滑孔。提供替换组件以方便维修。
